Overview

Breton is a high-end French restaurant located in Montreal, Canada. Inspired by The Surrealism Movement and named after one of its biggest writers, Andre Breton. A modern take on French cuisine, Breton offers an upscale and artsy environment in which you can delight your sight as well as your palate. The brand takes a state-of-the-art approach to the hospitality industry. Breton targets the upper-class art lovers, aged 30 to 55, with a lavish taste.

Solution

To successfully create a brand with an artsy and upscale personality, I combined surreal illustrations and a sophisticated color palette based on an elegant dark blue, light brown, and a soft cream white to maintain its warmth. The custom logo was based on Didot, a modern and high contrast font adding a high-end level to the brand. Breton brings a luxurious and edgy experience while staying truthful to its surrealistic roots.
